Tide Pots 2019

These pots were in part inspired by the development of new glazing techniques. Layering different glazes that created stratus marks that were reminisent of the tidal marks left on the beaches of my island home. 

The somber pallete reminded me of wintery walks on empty beaches, watching the crashing waves and moody skies. The lids marked a new direction, allowing for quicker production and finish.
